Draft Newt Gingrich 2008 (Starting 10/1/2007)
|
Yes, he said (rather lackadaisically, I might add) he's not running. Is that it? Are we going to let this valuable opportunity slip by us? While other candidates were forming exploratory committees and raising funds, the Gentleman from Georgia was doing the hard work necessary to formulate long lasting solutions to the serious problems facing America today. Mr. Gingrich is far more substantive than ANY other candidate out there, and he has built the support networks to actually get these things done. He won't need to have others write a speech for him or put his name on a "position paper", or even try to get his message out in 15 second sound bytes. In a true debate of the history of our nation, the problems we face and the workable solutions to those problems, Mr. Gingrich has the upper hand - BAR NONE! America hasn't had a successful draft candidate since Dwight Eisenhower. Let's make some history. Let Mr. Gingrich know how we feel and tell him America needs the workable solutions he proposes - and HE has to be in the driver's seat. Rule #1 ? Stick to the issues. Who's with me?

"Thank you for expressing your interest in Draft Newt Gingich 2008 for our area. At this time we aren't very active. I am very pleased with his book, Real Change. It should be required reading for every voter to base their vote on what they truly believe rather than what is popular or fashionable. "

"I have only sailed a few times but it was very relaxing and wonderful. I want to learn and enjoy if there someone sharing?"

"Hello, Byron. Not a lot of activity at this time. I think Newt is waiting for the primaries to shake out (Super Tuesday in February) before making any final decision. I can't believe a man of his knowledge and stature is going to sit on the sidelines. My comfort in this matter lies in the fact that he rarely does anything in a "conventional" manner."
